We need your correct name, address and payment data for your order. We need your e-mail address to confirm the order and communicate with you. In addition, we also use this for your identification relative to the user account (customer login).

If you do not have an account at arssedia, you can decide after placing an order if you want to set up account with arssedia protected by password. Data forwarded to us in this manner may only be used by our service providers for the performance of their tasks.

Your personal data can be deleted, provided that tax and commercial law retention periods do not preclude this, and should you make a cancellation claim if the data is no longer required to fulfil the purpose pursued by saving or if its storage is inadmissible for other legal reasons.

According to the Federal Data Protection Act you have, if the statutory requirements exist, a right to free information on your stored data and a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data.

2.4.2. Integration of services and content of third parties on online services from arssedia

Third-party content, such as links to artists or other online providers (e.g. suppliers of add-ons) are also integrated in our online service. This always assumes that the provider of such content (hereinafter referred to as third-party providers) perceive the IP address of the users. Content cannot be reproduced in the user's browser without the IP address. The IP address is therefore necessary for the depiction of that content. We strive to only use content whose respective third-party providers use the IP address exclusively for the delivery of content. However, we have no control over whether the third-party providers store the IP address (e.g. for statistical purposes). Insofar as this is known to us, we will inform you of it.

2.4.3. Google Analytics

In order to improve and optimise our service constantly, we employ so-called tracking technologies. arssedia uses the services of Google Analytics for this purpose.

Google Analytics is a service offered by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Data is collected and stored through Google Analytics from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. These usage profiles are used to analyse visitor behaviour and to improve and tailor our website. The usage profiles with pseudonyms are not merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym without the express consent of the person concerned which is issued separately.

Google Analytics uses cookies which are stored on your computer, enabling re-identification when revisiting our online service. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this online service is usually transmitted to a Google server in the US and stored there. Due to the activation of IP anonymization on this online service, your IP address is only recorded by Google in an abbreviated form within the member states of the European Union or in other states which are parties to the agreement on the European Economic Area, guaranteeing anonymity and do not permit any conclusions with regard to your identity. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the US and abbreviated there. Google adheres to the privacy policy of the US Safe Harbor agreement and is registered with the Safe Harbor program of the US Department of Commerce.

Google will use the information mentioned to evaluate your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for us and providing other services relating to the use of websites and internet related services. The IP address obtained from your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. A transfer of this data by Google to third parties only takes place due in response to legal requirements or as part of order data processing. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data obtained on you by Google and the manner of data processing and the purpose described above.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, but we wish to point out that you may not be able to use all the functions of this online service to their full extent in this case. You can also prevent the acquisition of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the online service (incl. your IP address) by Google and the processing of these data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com

More information about Google Analytics and data protection can be found at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de .

In addition, you can prevent the acquisition of data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following button. An opt-out cookie is set which prevents the future collection of your data when you visit this online service:
Disable Google Analytics

3. Social Networks

Our website uses social plugins from Facebook. You can, for example, share content or recommend products with the aid of these plugins. Plugins are disabled in the arssedia.de default settings and therefore do not send any data. You can activate all plugins by clicking on the "Enable social media" button (so-called 2-click solution).
If these plugins are enabled, your browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of the respective social network as soon as you visit a page of our website. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from the social network to your browser and integrates it into the website. The plugins can, of course, be deactivated again with one click.
By integrating the plugin, the social network acquires the information that you have accessed on the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged in to the social network, this can assign your visit to your account. If you interact with the plugins (e.g. by actuating the Facebook "Like" button or making a comment), the corresponding information from your browser is transmitted directly to the social network and stored there.
Please see the privacy policies of Facebook or the website for the purpose and scope of data collection, further processing and use of data by social networks and your rights and settings options for protecting your privacy. The links for this purpose valid during creation of this privacy policy can be found below.
If you do not want social networks on our website to collect information about you, you should log out of these networks before you visit our website.
Even if you are not logged in to Facebook, data can be sent to the network from websites with active social plugins. A cookie with a flag is set through an active plugin each time the website is activated. Since your browser sends these cookies unrequested every time you connect to a network server, the network could, in principle, create a profile indicating which websites the user associated with the identifier flag has activated. And it would then also be possible to assign this identifier flag later to a person (e.g. during later login on the social network).
If you do not want social networks to collect information about you via active plugins, you can the select the "blocking third-party cookies" function in your browser settings. The browser then does not send any cookies to the server in the event of embedded content from other providers. However, this setting can under certain circumstances result, either partially or completely, in other cross-page plugins also no longer functioning.

We use the following social plugin on our website:

Arssedia used plugins of the social network facebook.com which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook").
The link to the data protection DECLARATION of Facebook can be found here: Privacy policy of Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/

4. Secure data transfer

Your personal data is securely transmitted to us through encryption. This applies to your order and, also, for the customer login. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) coding system in this respect. While no one can guarantee absolute protection, we secure our website and other systems through technical and organisational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorised persons.
